Conversation with Cayden

Cayden is quite the talker these days and he has quite the little comedic streak, as well. He has learned about the video taping feature on my camera and we spent Kailee's whole nap time making videos of him talking; which he watched over and over again while laughing hysterically and telling me, "mommy Im funny!" Here is the one that makes me smile the most...enjoy!!

Because I can

Since I am the author of our family blog; I can brag as much as I want without much editing. And since I find Daves projects completely exciting and facinating...let the bragging begin :)

My incredibly talented (not to mention smokin hot) husband landed another movie contract for lighting. He just finished his portion of the shooting last week, which involved 2 solid days of work building a massive stage over the foutains at the Gateway Center. He also set up trussing and lighting, and of course was the lead operator for the lighting. The movie is called "Waiting on Forever," and its due to open in 2009. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1296898/

Yes, I know, he is super impressive!

Daves Birthday

My sugar daddy turned 32!!! haha

Now that Cayden has realized the significance of birthdays, he was more involved than ever with the planning. He was very adamant in the details from which cake we got to which gift Dave opened first. We had a great time and Caydens involvement made this a birthday that none of us will forget.

Our Princess

Kailee, being the true princess that she is, got her ears pierced! She did extrodinarily well. I had my sister hold her while she had it done as I casually wondered away. I have a hard time holding back my tears when either of my kids has to get their immunizations, so I was prepared for whatever the case may be.
Of course, she was immediately surrounded by a group of older women all willing to participate in the event in any way possible. She tends to have that effect on people, all biases aside - she is absolutely gorgeous!
The preparation took forever, but the actual task took less than 10 seconds. Followed by approximately 10 seconds of tears. As soon as I picked her up, she was fine.
